Faiz like just totally hacked my website. OMG. As everyone should know, that was not my post. Haha, and when I asked faiz why he did it, he said:

Sooo anyway, since fa’iz already said everything about my visit to qhss, i’ll just just tell you about my day.

I woke up this morning and brushed my teeth. Colgate man, thats the toothpaste i go with - so fresh and so clean. Haha. And thennn, i ate a little breakfast, which I never get to do because I’m usually running out the house to get to school. I <3 vacation. After that I like watched a movie, “Say Anything.” It was soooooooo romanticcc. It had that famous scene where the guy stands outside the girl’s window with a boombox. Omg, what a G. Like totally. Then my aunt/uncle and cousin came over from london. I missed them soo muchhh. Oh yea, like OMG, I saw this bigg spider on my window sill. I squished it with a bottle. Hehe. Poor spider. Umm what elseee. Uhh then I watched “Blood Diamond” (spider free) and LIKE WHOA Leonardo Di Caprio is such a knockout. <33333333333

okay, sooo guys its almost xmass!!!! I havent done anything yet, but I’ll try to hang out this break. I did get to hang wit tim and susan and his friend richard. We played pool and we got OH Seven Rings. Tim is so good at pool, what isnt he good at? Kristin is so lucky. I also went to the old school, trailer high, this friday. I got to see some people, but I especially got to see my favorite person, Fa’iz. Seeing him once every two weeks just isnt enough, even though he got there late. I also got to see all those old teachers that I miss so much. Ahh it was fun. My first time going back to the old alma mater. Tinu was there, so was justin, andre, sara, nadeem, winnie, manny and susan! who isnt mad at Fa’iz anymore!!! Anyway, i was there since like 11 something and I got to see the Arista Board thingy. It was fun, but Me, Justin, Andre and Paul will always be the best Arista Board ever, and no gift can top the gift we gave Goldstein. Haha I still remember when Andre said to Goldy, “Your Moms.” What a funny little boy. The memories. I wish I could go back to highschool. Especially because of the free metro cards. But it’s good at least in college we get a whole month of winter vacation. Ha! Highschool suckers! For those who didnt show up, you’re suckers too. After the school we went to Farmers Market, where Sana broke her cup of strawberry smoothie. Oh and haha Andre got Justin with this nice burn. Andre was talking about football, and justin was like stop, you dont see me talking about sports i dont know anything about, so Andre goes, then why do you talk about basketball? silly boys.

Oh and oooh oooh, Eid was cool too! I got to wear by blue and yellow sari. And and and… I cooked the goat and it was really good, but not everyone got some. So technically people were fighting for my food. Yup, your little Ellie is now a woman Ellie, just in time for the New Year. And oh yeahhh New Year. I cant wait till the new year comes, and my Fardeeny is coming back from Bangladesh on the 15th. And my Grandma left for North Carolina. Ahh i miss them so much. I almost got on the plane with her too on friday, but the ticket was a fake. I had to get searched and everything.

So I’ve been thinking about a New Year’s resolution, but cant come up with anything. My next post will definitely have my resolution. You guys should think of yours tooo!!!

i read timmy’s xanga (yeah xanga! remember that?!) and he was like take a moment out of your busy life and let the people who mean a lot to you know how much you’re thankful for them.. so i shall do just that =D

lets see..first of all.. even though they arent going to read this… i am thankful for my parents! they give me the support i need, listen to me in time of crisis, give me practically anything i ask for and trust me so much..i feel horrible when i break their trust which is something i need to work on.. but besides that i love them to death and i cant imagine being apart from them for more than like 2 days (i dont know how you people who dorm do it! lol)

then of course, i’m thankful for my nabz! my jaans! neethi, even though youre in india. i can always count on you for your great advice and of course im here for you anytime! gia, im so glad i get to see you this semester since our schools are so close.. i love it when we gossip lol and benny..oh benny where are you? lol i still love you though

third, i am thankful for oh seven! even though most of us are separated because of college, when we do meet up, it just feels like old times and i hope that feeling never goes away..thanks for being the amazing group of friends i can have

fourth, bootlegged family and others from hs whom i cherish.. you guys have made high school bearable..i love our HUGE group outings.. i love the diversity..i love the different personalities and im thankful for it all

fifth.. my hunter-ta group! i’ve gotten close to a lot of you and college is bearable because of you.. its awesome to not have to make new friends since we were forced to be friends in the summer lol.. but i love all of your talents and im greatful to have people to hang out with and share similar dislikes about joojoobean between our horrible college schedule

and lastly..anyone else whos made an impact in my life..im greatful for knowing you lol

anyways.. as for updating my life..my aim hiatus is over and i can live without aim! thats so amazing..but i seriously think its a waste of time and i get so much work done without aim.. so if im rarely on, you’ll know why.. my chem exam and presentation went very well…as for my bio exam.. well i didnt get my results yet and i dont want to jinx it by sayin anything…

and now its finally turkey day vacation.. my lovely people came back from their colleges and we got to hang out yesterday! it was such fun day started out with 22 people..the day was filled with ice skating on a lake, pasta..mm pasta, m&m’s and bubble tea! hehe i love the city..

the weather was soo nice that the ice at bryant park was like melting.. i fell once because of stupid nadeem..but i was satisfied because he fell after and got all wet! haha..we skated for a good 2 hours or so and then went to olive garden for a late lunch.. we left the place when it was dark lol…we walked around lovely times square with all the lights and went to the m&m store.. then went to 71st and austin for bubble tea.. im broke after it all.. sigh lol but it was worth it! i have pics but they will be on facebook so i dont wanna post them here….

tonight.. i will be going to my cousins house in long island.. its going to be a giant turkey feast followed by curry of course lol.. and i made sweet potatoe pie! =]

anyways.. i should try to finish some work before i leave…if only i can write my essays for english with the same passion i have to update my blog! lol

Okay… i broke my little hiatus twice already…BUT both times were homework reasons! so technically i wasnt getting distracted by aim! aww..arent you proud?!? lol

alrite…big update… IT IS NOVEMBER 1ST! (well 1/2 an hour left at least!)

this means, theres like less than 8 weeks left of the year 2007! in about 3 weeks its thanksgiving! then 2 weeks after that the fall semester is OVER! 2 weeks after that its christmas(ICESKATING DAY!!!) and EID (again) and then a wholeeeee month of nothing! it is going to be my first LONG break since last summer! woot.. now i need a job or something to keep me busy!

i was going to take winter classes, but i’m a freshman, why rush so much to get out of college and go into the real world? its awesome how i dont even do much and i get checks mailed to my house.. i got a check for $400 in october and today i received my vallone scholarship of $625! i made like 1 grand by doing nothing but going to school…so amazing…

college is getting better.. besides the studying.. i think i am starting to manage my time better to study more and have my time to watch my TV shows! I also have time to go to clubs and hang out with friends… but lets just hope its good enough to improve in my classes and do better on my next exams!.. i have a chem exam tomorrow! (the 2nd–my nephew aamir’s bday!), i have a chem poster presentation next wednesday! (and its going to be baddd, because the teachers grading us are very harsh!) and then the 15th(my mommys bday!) i have another stupid biology exam.. i am starting to study for that.. and that is why i am on the break from aim..so i can STUDY! hehe!

but after bio exam.. i am soooooo taking a well needed break! i want to see american gangster!! i havent seen a movie in the theater since… the simpsons movie!! which was alll the way in july? wow..

okay.. any other updates.. ramadan ended, and eid passed.. i wore YELLOW! and i was so bright! lol.. i did eid for 3 days actually and it was veryy fun! thenn after eid, my cousin came from england! he brought the wedding dvds from the summer.. and as we were watching the hilarious home videos.. i started to get that post-london depression again! argh..but its gone now…lol.. i believe my cousin and his bride are going to come sometime this month.. my grandma came to ny from london also! i misssed her so much and shes going to stay with us until thanksgiving.. then shes going to north carolina…

umm what else.. i went to my first party at hunter with my friends… it was a desi club sponsored party.. lots of brown people.. lots of playing  and good music, no drinking or smoking so it was a decent party..lol..but i dont have pics and i got home late.. but omg.. this was actually the first time i told my parents the truth and they were like.. sure, go to the party! loll

halloween also passed! i didnt dress up or go trick or treating because i had lab and i didnt get home till really late.. butttt my cutie little arisha was a lamb! and her mom’s name is mary! so “mary had a little lamb!” SO CUTE! haha =]

yay.. school is over ! now i got vacationnnn! woooo

last week SUCKED! wednesday especially because first of all there was that scary ass thunder/lightning storm..it brought a tornado to brooklyn and flooded every single train but the 7! me, being very devoted went to school.. met up with sharmeen at grand central and 42nd then WALKED to lexington and 68th! it was such a waste because my own professors didnt even come.. but since like 10 of us were there, we took the time to study and stuff and waited to see if the trains would work.. the 6 was working for one stop to 59th, then i transferred to the N to the 7 to the E which was going local and last stop was 71st and continental…therefore i got off at woodhaven and took the q88 and then q65 home.. 5 hours of commuting and spend only like 2 hours in school.. such a waste of a day.. then thursday i had my dreaded statistics test which i failed miserably thankyou and then because we missed class on wed, our professor made us go to school friday to make up the class..and it was another rainy disgusting day and the 6 wasnt working but thank goodness the F was and so i didnt have to waste so much time commuting.. one thing ive concluded…I HATE TRAINS! with sooo much passion.. its the down side of going to school in the city…

anyways.. this weeeek i had a statistics test and a chemistry final..ahh iono how i did..i really hate college and exams and i miss those days when class participation and attendence counted for like 40% of your grade! sigh…after the final on tuesday, we had a lunch party and then i went to simis house to chill a bit..and it was also our last day seeing nadeem! now hes in cornell..ew..and then i went back into the city to go to a “reception dinner” for the TA…there was no dinner psh..it was crap food but i got to meet people and see hannah again..her parents werre nice enough to drop me home! they are so sweet! hehe

ummm what else…..my fall schedule pretty much sucks.. i have early classes and late classes and huge gaps in between! at least i have the time to go to the gym between classes (just hope i stick to the plan)

i plan to enjoy my time off i guess.. with my babies and then if i can get out then ill hang out with school peoples and iono..we have a lot of preparations to get ready for because arisha’s “mini-wedding” or first birthday party is coming up! its at a very fancy restaurant and a clown is coming….woot my last party this summer before school begins!

ello mates!

i came back from my fabulous European trip on the 8th… and i want to go backkkk (still)

LONDON was so damn fun… full of wedding preparations, pre-wedding parties, shopping, THE WEDDING, then after wedding parties…

it was so busy, my usual bedtime was 3 am there or 10 pm here (5 hour difference)… and then i woke up like 10 everyday… i slept with my neice and her mom which was cute.. my neice cried a lot though and like whenever she was sleepin in the middle she kept touchin my face and kickin me..so cute lol

even though ive been to london at least 4 times before, i finally went to a mall there.. and like a walmart/target- like store.. it was so weird but i liked it.. the weather was pretty much crap..it would be sunny one moment and then start raining.. but we didnt feel gloomy because we were all soo excited

anyways.. the wedding rocked, everything went perfectly and i got to ride a hummer limo =D my new sister in-law is soo nice and caring…i miss herrr but my cousin plans to bring her to ny soon to visit.. yayy (song of the trip- tera mera rishta and maula mera, joke of the trip- sany and manna being gay)

3 days of my “europe 07″ vacation was spent in paris, france. that place is sooo beautiful..definately the city of love lol..but then the weather sucked there and it just rained unexpectedly..which sort of ruined the mood..but we saw most of the famous stuff there (mona lisa, eiffel tower, notre dame) and i had a great time.. i loved riding the metro which is MUCH better than the ones here and they are soo easy to navigate.. now next time i go to france..i just need to learn some important phrases… the people were rude =/

my uncle was pickpocketed on the train..he lost about $800 and like another 100 euros.. so sad =[ but he got over it… i mean hes a rich doctor afterall lols

omg my last days in london were really bad, because my brother got sick, cousins got sick, and then i also ended up throwing up too =[i eve barfed on the plane ride back..both rides, i was sitting away from my family (which was cool- independence yay) and luckily the lady next to me was kind and was like “aww you okay, you want me to get the flight attendant,” etc.. and thenn the stupid plane was circling around JFK for like an hour before landing so the flight was delayed.. i ended up coming home around 10 pm and i ate and tried to go to sleep for i had WORK and SCHOOL the following day.

so anyways i have been going to school since the 9th.. i have stat and intro to chem class as well as being a teacher assistant to mark singh’s aunt (who is a teacher–smalll world).. my last day teaching is tomorrow! and then i have class till the 14th.. ive been so busy because of it all… i met a lot of cool people in my program.. we totally bonded in this overnight trip we went to last friday/saturday… we went hiking and stuff..i know how most of my friends look early in the morning.. lol and our inside jokes..the prank on the guys..all so funny and so memorable.. i like college =] only complaint is commuting on rainy days because its so disgusting and i just hope the trains don’t flood again like last week (18th- the day of the steam pipe thing)

i got to meet up with my qhss people a few times =D ..like the friday after i got back (13th) i went to mina’s house with simi, tinu and nadeem and we just chilled..then monday (16th) i met up with sara, betty, justin, mina, nadeem, simi, winnie and simon at bubble tea on 71st and then todayy (25th), nadeem and mina met me for lunch and then after class i met them at times square and we went to columbus circle to chill with janice and susan..so even with going to school, i was still able to see everyone at least once.. but sadly sara has gone to pakistan, mina will be going to china soon, then justins going to texas, tim is in taiwan =[ my AA has been in BD since i got back and then nadeems going to cornell and then the others will be shipping off to college.. aww sigh..we have to have one major party/hangout thing like at least ONE more time before everyones gone..but iono how thats going to happen
