this will be my theme song for the new year.. i am tired of being restrained and afraid.. its time to be honest and live life to the fullest, in the most halal way possible of course.. iA!
so my last few weeks of 2008 were spent studying/taking finals, then hanging out with people, going to the bronx (bangla bazaar ave!), secret santas, Sharmin’s birthday, in-house party with qhss girls, watching slumdog millionaire with aishah and ghajini with sameera (which were soooo good) and shopping! lots and lots of shopping!
last night was our new years eve party and i think it was just like our typical family parties, drama and more drama..but in the end everything should be alright..i hope all the kiddos liked their presents and if they didnt, then well too bad… i am still sooo tired from all the cleaning i did before the party, all the hosting i did during the party and all the cleaning i did after the party.. but it was worth it…
im starting winter classes on the 5th and then spring term starts the 26th.. i am still awaiting my grades for bio and arab lit but I PASSED ORGO! hell yea baby.. lol

Did you do something you would never do?: nope, i usually play it safe

What was your biggest failure of 2008?: not mustering the courage to speak to someone
Did you suffer illness or injury?: oo chicken pox part II, thats memorable
What was the best thing you bought in ‘08?: probably my zen dock coz it came in handy and was cheaap
Did your behavior change over the year?: totally, i just dont know how but people say ive changed
Where did you spend most of your money?: probably metro cards and lunch around hunter

What do you wish you would have done more of?: tell the truth, be more serious with my studies

What did/will you do for Christmas ‘08?: mostly sleep since i dont celebrate it

Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?: i dont dislike anyone, i grow distant from people, but no hating
What was the best book you read and/or movie you saw in ‘08?: best book- kite runner and message in a bottle and best movie was ghajini and dark knight
What was your greatest discovery?:how cool my mom can be
What did you do on your birthday and how old were you?: i had an orgo quiz, i had arab lit class and i had biology with persell…i spent majority of the school day with nitol since it was her bday too and then after bio, we went to tangra for dinner and i got home like 11ish… i turned 19!
What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?:having my girls closer to me
How would you describe your personal fashion concept of 2008?:i liked layers, long sweaters, cute boots and comfy sneakers

Who was your enemy?: i had conflicts with a few people but theyre good now
Who do you miss?: neeethi!! and cousins in london!!
Who will you never forget?: mostly everyone i hope
Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2008: keep a cool face and watch what happens from a distance, it shows you how people are really like. oh and always respect your elders!
What will you always remember about 2008?: All the awesome friends I made, summer with all my londoni cousins, thanksgiving and new years party
Aspirations for 2009…
What do you want to do in ‘09 that you couldn’t in ‘08?: go out of the country for a much needed vacation
Any resolutions?: not really, just finish up the aamir khan movies
What will be different about 2009 than 2008?: only time will tell…
Anything you want to change about yourself for 2009?: lose weight
Do you want to make more friends in 2009?: yea why not.
